Gently rolling them in your fingers won't actually do anything either. It kinks up your hair a bit, but won't make thm any rounder in the long run.
When you sleep, they get squished in 1 direction, when you roll over, they get squished in another direction. Over time, the will get rounder. Some may stay flattish, but they usually round out. That usually depends on the shape and size of your section. Sleeping is where the tighten and round out most, though. The few minutes a day that you finger roll them doesn't add up to much considering that it takes a few months for anything you do to become permanent so long as there are no other variables. In that time, other things will happen. So the 2 minutes you spent rolling them will either be reinforced, washed out, or covered up by everything else that goes on in those emonths
in fact in rainbow family dreadies i asdded a bunch ogfg pages (links on top right) 1 is my full rainbow music (and other recordings) collection almost 500 recordings
Welcome. Palm rolling them is a dangerous call, though. If you don't do it often, it won't create any lasting knots. If you do it enough to see progress, it will severely damage your roots, which will make your locks weaker down the line. I have a video on my page showing what only 2 weeks of daily palm rolling does. 6 years later I am still trying to fix the damage
Welcome Juice. Our dreads do hold history, guess it was your time to let it go. Nice to see you are getting a new chapter and new beginning for your dreads.
It is not necessary to roll your dreads, it only temporarily fixes the frizzies etc. Just let em be and separate. The dreaducation tab at the top will help you get started on the site. Cheers & Happy Dreading
