Welcome. Crocheting is actually the most damaging thing that can be done to locks. It breaks hairs into smaller and smaller pieces, which weakens your locks.

If you only did it once, to start, it's not as bad, but it will delay progress for up to 6 months. If you want healthy, locks that will last you a lifetime, don't use keep doing it

Welcome. African hair is amazing. And it looks gorgeous when it grows healthy locks. There's a woman I see periodically who has a dozen, almost completely flat locks. You'd think it would look strange, but they are beautiful on her. And it's obvious they grew naturally

its great to see someon e with african hair that doesnt twist em till they are more scalp then dreads!

i agree with ya african hairs awesome especialy for dreads why some ppl think they have to force it into super natural tighteness so their brain shows between the cracks is beyongd my understanding

it just looks so much better natural
