so your getting more feedback then you wanted

well

we had 1 girl with 5 year old drwds the dreads started with a kit and wax

5 years later the waxed ends (only used it the 1st year so only 1/5th of the dreads were waxed..just the bottoms)

thge waxed parts ..never dreaded! after 5 years they were just glued together you could pull em apart woth fingers,..thenroll en back to look drewsded tharts a kit for u it makes u believe u got dreads but they never dread why do u think junny clean can shove a harpoon like tool all the way up the length of a dread and pull 1 dread entirely inside another? theres only room cause after 6 years his candles still arent at all dreaded

the girl here after removing said wax ..her dreads progressed more in a week then they did in 5 years

why would u want dreads but want to prevent them from drading?

if u wait a week u will get hundreds of ppl begging u not to use a kit...all former kit victims..and yea,..they call themselves victims

Your hair your call, dude. BUT I seriously would advise against it. I'm not touting anything else but I am a pretty natural-minded person and that stuff is not good for your hair, let alone hair as dreadlocks. :( I almost put wax in my hair but I'm sooo glad I didn't. Someone told me to use beeswax [which is not 100% beeswax, it's mostly petroleum jelly and a small amount of beeswax] and I put just a teeny tiny bit in my hair and changed my mind. Way too greasy for me and I didn't even want to think about trying to get it out of my hair! So I stopped, asked around and I found this site. Yeah, it was before I found these guys. They are very helpful and you would do well to heed the warnings, hun. Your hair grows back but it takes a while. Do you really wanna risk having to cut it out and wait for it to grow back? You can keep the pain out of your ass if you change your mind soon enough. ;)

www.dreadlockssite.com/forum/topics/reasons-not-to-use-a-dread-kit-from-those-whove-used-a-dreadkit

just wait..read the replis to this over the next few days

see why everyone who used a kit would warn you not to use a kit

thatis what your dreads will look like inside

and worse yet after that dread was cut open it was palm rolled once and wioth wax that was in it for 4 years it still got glued back together

and that wax..was only used in the 1st 2 weeks..1/4 the recomended amount and it is why they were cut

tthey never ever dreaded they were just glued together

a dread kits a disaster

i dont know why anyone wiuld ever use 1 knowing how bad they are
