Welcome to the community. You will find these links useful. (Dead URL) http://www.dreadlockssite.com/forum/topics/some-links-for-those-new-to-the-forum/a>

You should stop palm rolling, etc. It does nothing beneficial to dreads, unless wax was used. In which case it should be removed immediately.

Welcome. If products were used, let us know. Most products will do nothing fo your locks. Wax, especially, will only help to prevent your locks from ever maturing. Gels and creams will dd residue to your hair that will create a breeding round for mold ad mildew.

Sounds good. You could always wear a plain tam to cover them up during the baby stages while you're at work. But if your boss is ok with it, that's better

I can't say 100%, but if Australia has any laws governing work like the US does, if you are growing them naturally for any type of spiritual reason, no employer can legally make you clean them up. Only if you manicure them can your boss say something about it. TnR is fine, but if you want to go natural from there, you shouldn't let yourself get bullied into tidying them up.

As for the BS wash... Do you have naturally oily hair? If not, then ALWAYS rinse out the BS well and then do an ACV rinse. just a capful of ACV in 5+ cups of water is fine. Leave it in for a few seconds and rinse it out. As they mature you can leave it in longer and once mature, you can start to use more than a capful.
