welcome i hope u took the bands out righyt away and do not comb them everytime u do you set the progress back the only way they can get tight is to leave enm alone
u never ever want to backcomb more then the 1 time even if they fall apart completely
from there u hasve to surrender to the natural process or they will never dread
we had 1 girl backocomb constantly a year and they never dreaded 1 week after finding us and stopping the comb her dreades dreaded more that weejk then the entire year
u got to stop it all and let them dread
the hair knows how to drewad so let it
