thees sea salt n the liquid. it also ships real fast you'll get it in a couple days. mostly carefully wash the roots then rinse through the less you scrub your hair around the less you untangle or pull apart sections.
lets see a before photo! can' wait to see how they progres
you shouldnt need to condition till mature. but acv softens, not conditions. a diferent proces..
I suggest separating often, I do it daily and as needed when I feel them pulling together. Plus I look better when I've done some daily maintenance lol. I'd love to see as you progress, post some pictures! Welcome
Baking soda and vinegar eat away lime on a bath tub... it's not good for hair. I use acv but highly diluted and not any more often than every 3 weeks... soaring eagle has advised me that the acv could cause damage and loss of hair... I've yet to experience that in the 4.5 years, but it's worth noting, maybe ratio and frequency play a big part
Thank you soaring-eagle! I will purchase the liquid dread shampoo but can I start with baking soda until my shampoo arrives and do I use the ACV to condition my hair or do I need something else? I’m sorry for so many questions but I want to make sure I have all the info before I get started.
No Comb
Wash with liquid dread Shampoo
dry it

1 DO NOT WASH WITH BAKING SODA i know it was highly recommended years ago.. NO LONGER it severely weakens hair

I want to start my dread journey this week but I have some questions..
1.when I wash my hair with baking soda can I pour it over the top of my head to wash all of my hair or just wash the scalp.
2.Can I color my hair dreads while I am on my journey?
3. I have long thick wavy/curly hair will I be able to trim my dreads if I feel they are getting too long or will that make my dreads come loose?
4. Can I put my hair up or wrap it during the process?
5. When I wash my hair do I have to blow dry it or can I let it dry naturally?and can I put it up and wrap it while it is drying?
Any help will be greatly appreciated... I just want to make sure I am doing it correctly during this journey. I Currently keep my hair up because the weather here gets hot and humid so I’m hoping I can still wear it up or wrap it without bothering the process of my dreads forming..
Thank You sooooo much!
