Can Anyone Help a Pennsylvania Member?

Help! Save My Dreads

A friend of mine reattached his dreads by letting his new set settle in for a few months and then me and a friend sewed his old dreads onto the ends of the new ones.... it worked awesome, we had to reattach and do some weaves to a few but hecouldn'tbe happier with how they are now. He to felt an overwhelming sense of sadness and loss when they were gone... i feel for this guy, i really wish i lived closer to offer assistance!

Took my dreads out, and hair is super thin, want my dreads back

General Questions

Hey if im reading this correctly, what your sating is that after your dreads came out your hair is much thinner then before yes? My friend had the same problem, if you wait like 3 months or so your hair will gain the thickness back. Id say give you hair a chance to grow back to max power before dreading it again, the process of combing it out can be pretty harsh on the scalp after all.

Dread Maintenance

Awwwe i had a whole reply and then hit the wrong button and it disappeared :C i have got to get use to this forums styles. Anyways, i love this was! and i love reading all about everyones personal experiences and preferences when it comes to amounts and oils. I think my next oils will be rosemary and thyme, always loved them but never thought of putting them in my hair before, thank you! ALSO!! ive discovered peppermint and rose water are really good additives into the mix as well, both really good for scalps and things :)
