thanks guys, personally i think my moms full of shit and just wants me to cut my crazy afro, cause she embarrassed or something, but i will definatly try and ask for the companies hair policy

ok so basically i work at the same company as my mom, she basically got me the job there, but she works in the office part and i work in the factory part. so this company likes everyone to look nice even the people like me in the factory we are required to wear collared shirts and dress pants, now, personally i dont think they would say anything to me but my moms is saying different, i dont know if shes just saying that cause she wants me to cut it, or she is actually being serious, oh as by the way i dont even have the dreads yet i have a fro and im in the process of letting them form naturally. but yeah like i cant quit my job if they say i have to cut it but like ive been growing this for so long and it went through so many awkward stages and i finally did what i said i was gonna do for years, so i really will be distraught if they say i have to cut it..... any advice?

ok i defiantly will thanks for the advise guys, if it wasnt for you guys and this site i would be walking around with disgusting wax in my hair and completely damaged hair from backcombing

well its made of wool but on the outside idk what is on the inside but damn if i cant wear a hat im gonna look really bad at work for the next year hahah

yeah i figured it had to be a little long but my hair looks alot shorter then it actually is i was wearing a hat all day at work so its all bunched up my hair right now is a little over 4 inches, it seems like ive been growing my hair forever haha but i know it will be worth the wait, im really excited
