Baby dreads and the beach

General Questions

Thanks, and should I wash them afterwards or just rinse the salt water off?

Baby dreads and the beach

General Questions

I got dreads about 4 days ago and tomorrow I was planning on going to the beach. Is it ok to get my dreads wet? I have really straight hair if that matters. I don't want to ruin the locking process.

Thanks in advance!

Introduce Yourself

Hi! I just joined the site because i recently (4 days ago) got my hair dreaded using the twist and rip method without the crochet hook. Everyday I fall in love with my dreads even more. My name is Ricky and I hope this site helps me through mydreadlocksjourney.

Before and after pics

My hair is actually straighter than that. 2 weeks before I got my hair dreaded I started going to the beach daily (I live in Puerto Rico) and when i washed my hair I washed it with dish washer.
