Hi dreadlock community, it's been a long time since I've been here on the site and thought I share how my dreads are doing.
I first dreaded my hair using the twist and rip method (At this point I did not know I could have dreads naturally)
1st Day
This is 2 and a half months:
im tilting my head back in this one
In this time lapse I had my dreads "retouched" using the interlocking method(bad idea i know...) once but then, after learning the right facts about dreads, I decided to not "retouch" my dreads anymore and let them grow how they want.
I stopped taking personal photos of my hair so I dont have more of the process, but I went to an activity last week that they took photos and my hair was nicely taken a photo of, so here it is:
Right now I love my dreads more than ever, and it has been an amazing experience that will continue to reflect the changes in my life and the different stages I have gone through.
Any comments and questions are very welcome
Good vibes and good night.
My hair was about shoulder length and it did shrink a bit in the rebel stage, but now I feel them growing faster.
Yeah some blunted on their own, but I just let them do what they want
Thank you! Good vibes.

Happy dreadaversary! Looking great. Have no sound on my computer, which sucks, so could not hear your commentary, sorry. What length was your hair when your began your journey? Just wondering how much shrinkage you had. I like the tips of yours, I also started with T&R and most of mine blunted on their own and I have fatter ends on many of them too. Awesome dreads, especially at 1 year....peace
Its been 1 year since I T&R my hair. Here is a vid showing my hair. Any tips or comments are greatly welcome. Bless

Not sure if this is the right place to post this... but anyway, I wanted to show you dreadheads how I make my beanies to sleep, work out, or just to cover your dreads!

What do you think??
Apart from drying faster, why is it good that the ends are loose?

they're looking pretty sweet, did you use twist and rip as a starter method?
wow thanks! did not expect this feedback.I don't know why they have progressed this fast... I sleep with apantyhose covering my dreads and wash every 3-4 days with dish soap (Ordered Dr. Bronners). Not sure if that has to do with it.
How are my dreads doing? They only have 2 1/2 months. I attached some pics. I have a lots of straight ends. What do you guys think? Suggestions are very welcomed!
