Wondering if my dreads are okay...

Help! Save My Dreads

yes you got to take the rubber bands out and separate after washing by pulling them apart rubber bands can cause a dozen different severe issues in no time

the wax is evil stuff a dread killer you need wax b gone to remove it

www.dreadlockshampoo.com makes wax b gone  and the best dread shampoos

be careful not to over separate before theres dreads to separate

though the few that look like they might be dreading look on the thick side

its a shame you made the loctician mistake you have the most perfect hair for natural dreading i ever saw

am i mistaken or did 1 of them use wax and yes looks like it may have been very poorly interlocked

and ofcourse crochets horible

but to answer if they will be ok well yes-ish  if wax was used it needs to be removed (if i see a rubber band that too!)

the rest will just need time to recover

General Talk

i will have the new server here tonight, and will start setting it up

all smaller sites will migrate over 1st cause migrating dreadlockssite can take a pretty long time  even maxing out the bandwidth

DREAD ROT FEARS

Help! Save My Dreads

to make it easier to see

this could be lint, dust, dandruff etc

mold  can smell only when damp if its not bad once its bad it can smell when dry too

you do not have to cut if it is mold! www.dreadlockshampoo.com makes a product called rot knot that's amazing  its ofcourse all natural and organic

it was tested on tough bathroom grout mold that always came back after even the most toxic  mold killers but this stuff  kept it from coming back

it smells yummy..like cloves  you get your dreads soaking wet then saturate em with this stuff squeezing it in deep wait at least 10 minutes then rinse (i have used an entire bottle at once and it all rinsed out with ease!)

white stuffs most often lint..but smells are a concern

wax was never used even once i hope right?
