Would my hair dread? If so what would it look like?

Introduce Yourself

all hair will dread some fine hair dreads extremely fast others pretty slow

what itwould look like is impossible to guess since they always turn out unique (provided you do it right)

and how they will look will change drasticly till they are mature

Dread shampoo that ships from the UK

Dread Maintenance

i really couldn't say for sure

but if its 10 times the price of bronners you might as well go with the best and get www.dreadlockshampoo.com right

i wish one of our real shampoo experts was still around

it doesn't seem like it would be an issue in hard water but i cant guarantee that

most soaps .. pure soaps.. don't work in hard water that's why detergents were made

true soaps are saponified oils

lil trivia.  i never watched boned but flipping through the channels saw 1 where they exumed the corpse of a child

and opened the casket and out poured like 50 gallons of soap

because kids tend to be chubby (and happens to many heavy people) and the ground was high in lye, the ground saponified the fats in the body turning it to soap

so saponification is the process off using a caustic material (lye) to break down oils into soap

the shampoo looks ok to me  though i would look up the ones with * and se what those are

yea I've seen it before ..you will have to keep an eye ion it to make sure it doesn't form huge dreads but till its knotting up its best to not touch it

you could be pulling apart sections before they get a chance to even start to dread

that's going to dread interestingly

try not to mess with it much and even though it appears to make progress in 3 days the shortness of it might mean it will take a couple more months of growth and messiness before actual dreads form

I think I'm going to start over

Dreadlocks Journey Emotional Support

yes taking them out doies take a long time ..the longer the better though rushing it too fast can be damaging being gentle takes longer but is healthier

just use more then enough conditioners or oils to loosen them up make the hair slippery and easy to untangle

you probly won't notice buildup till its dreaded except that your hair and skin may feel oily or sticky and not  just pure clean after washing

they are coming along good and this section was always very popular and active ..not as much recently wich sux so good to see your getting it going again

shampoos

some use certain lush bars successfully though i can't say wich ones

though 1 member wrote to lush, and the president of the company wrote back.. saying that technically no lush bars are dread safe.

that hasn't stopped some people from using them but theres only a few without sls in them, and fewer still that maybe low residue and low conditioning

i only mention them cause of the high availability there
