i tryed the wax way that shit didnt do anything but fuck my hair up so about a week ago i finlly got all the wax out and am wondering what i need to do for the natural way somebody help me

i have always wanted dreadlocks but i have very fine thin hair so somebody recommend that i try using wax i tried that it sweated out my first day back to work i was wondering if i sweat to much does that mean i cant get dreadlocks and if anybody knows any other methods i should try?
