greasy hair..

Dread Maintenance

aright well i'll try these different methods. my hair/ head is very difficult. my hair gets greasy but my scalp is always dry so we will see what works out best. for now though i'll just wash my bangs in the sink until i find something else where they won't get so greasy so fast. thank you everyone

Dread Maintenance

ok heres the thing i've had dreads for about 3 weeks. i left my bangs undreaded and i have very thin, soft hair. so the hair that is not dreaded get greasy very fast but obviously i'm not going to over wash the rest of my head for just that little section. so what should i do? could i just rinse my hair under water with out any cleaning products or what not, just to get the dirt and unwanted oils out?

Introduce Yourself

thanks everyone. i'll have to stop by a GNC when i go home. the town my college is in doesn't have it, a walgreens, target or natural food places...its a very small town but i'll be sure to get it as soon as i get back.

Introduce Yourself

hello everyone! i'm nikki and i'm new to the site. i've had dreads for about 3 weeks now, doing the twist and rip method. seems to be working fine. i pretty much just let them do as they please now. i was wondering though what the best thing to wash them with would be. i see a lot of people talking about the dr. bronners but until i can get that what would be the best thing?
