Dreading Methods

Hello...I am Nick and i am from Greece...I had Dreadlocks for about 6 years...8 dreadlocks at the back of my head...a friend of mine made them with crochet and every 4 months he was fixing the roots...so i decided to cut them cause i wasnt very happy with them...loose hair and my hair started to become weak i had the feeling etc....so i found this site and i go the neglect method....its 5 months now...i started from 1inch long and i wash my hair every 3 days with dr bronners shampoo the tea tree....

unfortunately i havent seen yet any knots...and i am very disappointed...

one good thing is that here in Greece summer is starting and i leave next to the beach...so yesterday i did my 1st swim...and i hope that the sea water will help the processor to make knots...but there are some questions i have...

1st:do i have to wash my hair with just water after swimming?

2nd:where i leave its very windy..is it a problem?do i have to wear a tam all the time?

3nd: i use dr bronners shampoo...and i was thinking to go to BS/AVC method...

Hello...when you say you should rinse it out you mean with tap water and shampoo or just tap water?sorry for my bad english

Hello...What is theBS/ACV wash?

I've started my dreadlocks 5 months ago from 1 inch long....The neglect method..Unfortunately nothing has happened yet..i wash my hair every 3 days and i use Dr Bronners tea tree and i put i dose of that and about 10 from water to distill...one good thing is that i leave next to the beach and yesterday i did my 1st swim(Summer is starting here in Greece)...i hope that the sea water will help to lock faster...If they lock...

Hello..I had 9 dreads in the back with the crochet method..i had them for 6 years..i started from 1 and after 2-3 years became 9....it was nice but i had to go every 3 months or smt to my friend to fix it,,and also i was feeling that it was very harmful this method for my hair...

Luckily i found this site i shaved my head and i started natural way....

Now i am at 5 months of neglect.....
