EO Shampoo

Dread Products

These sound awesome. Which one do you use? The chamomile one sounds nice... as well as the rosemary and sweet orange varieties. 95% of the time, I use nothing but baking soda & essential oils but occasionally I use JasonTea Tree Scalp Normalizing Shampoo . Last week I bought Desert EssenceTea Tree Replenishing Shampoo . It's nothing special and I'm still skeptical about using it. The Jason product leaves my hair feeling so clean but is a bit drying. I really want to check out the EO products! Does anyone else have any opinions or experience with EO.

for a laugh and positive vindication

General Talk

Read for your daily dose of positive, reinforced self-love and strength reminder:

"Dreadlocks are more than just a symbolic statement of disregard for physical

appearance. Bibically, Sampson's unrivaledstrength was lost when Delilah cut off his *seven* locks ofhair. In classical India, all students on the spiritual path were directly

enjoined by their scriptures to develop Dreadlocks as a means to detach them
from physical vanity and aid them in the development of bodily strength and
supernatural mental and spiritual powers.

Both Eastern and Western Traditions hold that bodily, mental and

spiritual energies mainly exit the body through the top of the head and the
hair. If the hair is knotted, they believe, the energy remains within the
hair and the body, keeping a person more strong and healthy."

This being said, those of you who are dreading your hair for the sole purpose of rebelling against todays beauty standard, or for a total disregard for vanity... I found your validation...

Please draw your attention to comment number 14, my favorite by dear miss joyce Hanssen.

....oh, it's positively dreadful!!!

awsome in a bottle?

Dreads Hair and Scalp Health

Perfectly stated. :) You're quite welcome, and I'm glad it's working well in small doses.

awsome in a bottle?

Dreads Hair and Scalp Health

eek i'd be careful with it-- i just went to the website you listed because it sounds AMAZING!

but just so you're aware, it is meant for detangling. this is the online description for it:

"While we were testing Save Your Skin in the tropics we were also diving daily and Charlene's hair was getting so tangled in her dive mask that we would have to rip it to get it out.

The criteria for this product was to create anall natural fine mistto spray into hair that is saturated with salt water to keep natural moisture in and to detangle: This makesit rather unique in addition to its other uses.

  • We use it daily after showering and towel drying.
  • It?s a great leave in conditioner and can even be used on dry hair to add a little moisture.
  • Many mothers we know use it on their daughter's hair in the morning to detangle dry knotted hair instantly.

It's another one of those products that has multiple uses, and if you're going to spend any time at the beach there is nothing better thanSave Your Hairto control beach frizzys.

INGREDIENTS: Distilled water, natural vitamin E, avocado oil, coconut oil, jojoba oil, calendula, lavender oil, and lemon grass oil."
