Thanks so much SE! I'm off to wash my hair now!!! I'm not going to use the super pulsing jet setting but I'm still going to get close enough to clean my scalp
Hello All,
As many of you know, I've been in neglect for almost 3 months now (3 month anniversary on 5/17! w00 h00!) I started out with very short hair, just 4 inches and now my hair has been sectioning nicely. I've been trying to wash 1x a week with the BS & ACV wash but now I'm noticing that my hair is very oily with only washing once a week. I'd like to wash twice a week but one of my concerns is that when I wash I must rinse thoroughly because of the baking soda white mud mystery stuff that gets left on my scalp. Once I followed SE's instructions and rinsed with a high power shower head that pretty much ended the problem. The thing is that once my hair dries (naturally) the sectioning that my hair has done is almost all gone. If I start washing twice a week and rinsing this way (to prevent the buildup on my scalp) will my hair ever knot? Is this just a side effect of my hair being so short still? I think its about 5 inches in some areas now. Please let me know what I should do! Also, if you can explain why some people are asked to use MORE baking soda when they have soft water I would love to understand why. I thought that since it was harder to rinse out in hard water that people should use LESS but I've been reading the opposite here. If I can get any help with this that would be great! Thank you so much! -Marcus
I apologize for your experience. I think setting up a shop would be a good idea so that way this doesn't happen again. If I hadn't spent $60 on a "wool" tam from some random site a couple of months ago I would have definitely purchased one from you! -Marcus
