My knotty timeline- Twist 'n' rip start.

Member Journals and Timelines

Hey guys,

So I posted an update nearly 2 months ago and have just lurked again since then. I figured id start a time-line and keep it up to date from now on, They will be 3 months old on the 3rd march from date of twist n rip.

This is the only picture I have with my hair at the length I started at. Day before.

Sections. I took the bands out the next morning.

Twist 'n' Rip half finished...

...and done

About one week in here

This is about the one month mark. Feb 3rd.

Here is around the 6-8 week mark. (my camera time/date is whacked out so im guessing.)

There where all taken for me today, 10 week in.

From now on i'm going to name all dread pictures the date of which they where taken so i can update this more accurately.

1 month anniversary

General Talk

Hey guys,
So its been a month since i started my notty journey and i have been lurking since then. I fuigered i wanna be more involved in this community and so ill start by posting up some 1 month (as of 13th) pictures =D.
What do you think and hope you enjoy.
I started with a some T'n'R but the 4-5 that came undone have been growing 100% naturally, washed them every 3-4 days with the baking soda wash, didn't really get on the the vinigar rinse, to much hair came loose for my liking.
Anyways. peace to all =]

Help! Save My Dreads

Hey people, found you site yesterday just before i T'n'R'ed and im wondering if what i think is a problem, will actually be a problerm in the long run. When i watwisting them i was'nt keeping the section straigh, i was instead pulling it to the side. So it would lay down to the side/fowards instead of all sticking out. Now at the roots i have say, maybe a 1/2 gap between dreaded area and scalp on half the dread, and the other side has maybe a inch, maybe more between the dreaded area and the scalp. Will this even out and dread evenly now i have left them, or should i take them out or start again, pulling them straight when i rip. Here is a picture -
