at the beginning i had a lot of loose hairs too but i've been wearing a wool tam when i'm at home or going to sleep and i've noticed that its helping a lot. hope that helps

so i was too excited to wait until new years to start dreading and
i went ahead and dreaded them today by myself.
I LOVE THEM!
they are frizzy and not all the same size and they have a few loose spots
and i absolutely love it!
i cannot wait to watch them change and mature and grow.
i'm so in love with my new dreadies!!!

just found this site a couple of days ago.
and so grateful that i did.
i'm haley.
i'm 19 (i'll be 20 in march).

i'm a vegetarian.
been in love with my terrific boyfriend for over 4 years.
i don't have dreads yet but i will start dreading on new years.
a hell of a way to start off a new year
my amazing boyfriend is going to be backcombing.
i'm so excited! i've wanted dreads for a long time.
to me, dreads are one of the most beautiful things.
i know i won't have dreads over night.
it takes time and i intend on embracing it and enjoying every minute of it.
but anyways, i just wanted to say thank you to all of you.
this site has been so informative.
and i love reading all of your stories.
