some times this is done when you have large loops that you dont want. you can take the thread out later but most people i see with it cant be bothered.

i love my make up, i dont feel that i need to put it in to feel beatiful. but after working hard all week and being covered in sand and sawdust and god knows what else. by friday arvo i just want to be clean and presentable

i blow dry as well, but if im in a real rush to go out i'll use my wet to dry straighter. and ive not had a single problem, my dreads are fully formed though.
does anyone get snaged on tree limbs as much as i do?
General Questions
branches, zippers, velcro, even managed to get a dread stuck in my car door as i got in. the most embarrassing of all is my boyfriend who also had dreads loves to stick random objects in my hair to see how long it takes me to notice. ive walked around a shopping centre with 2 pegs in my hair, gone to sleep at night to see are very strange green glow coming from my pillow...only to find a fishing glow stick stuck in a dread. ive even had coins fall out when i undo my ponytail.

if you cant wear a hat, try a head wrap/tube. this is what i wear to work everyday to stop getting sunburnt and to stop all the dust and dirt hetting on my scalp.
