Thanks guys! Well it hurt like hell but I managed to "uncrochet" a dread and rip it apart. it fills it in perfectly. I'm so pissed I crocheted them! I had no idea. I went on knotty boy and youtube and found "crochet to be the best method" and now what WOULD be really fat dreads are now skinny. :-\But alas, no bald spot!

UNFORTUNATELY, I had no one who could section my hair for me. So i just started taking pieces and backcombing them. The front looks okay, but there is a huge gap in the back of my head and it's pissing me off. Now no one told me NOT to crochet my dreads, so i got really crochet happy and have been doing it everyday for like a week. It will be impossible to pull them apart to create more dreads to fill this gap. idk. i'm paranoid that they will grow to look stupid. I wish i could have sectioned them.Ignore my beat up face in the picture. Gotta love bar fights. :-\

your dreads look awesome! i'd say just let them go. seriously they look really good! I had mine for about a week and 3 days in i washed them. I used V05's shampoo because it's the shittiest shampoo out there that leaves hair dry. I figured it would knot mine up faster, plus it leaves it smelling really nice. but that's just me. dont give up on urs. they r beautiful
