flat roots?!

heyhihello (: so, this is my second set of dreads since i used wax the first time and literally had to shave my head D: i've had them close to 2 months and they're doing weird stuff.i have a couple of flat ones but i don't really care about those haha the rest are pretty rounded everywhere but at the root, which is completely flat.is that pretty normal or am i just worrying over nothing?

i've used shea butter for the last six months and it washes out just fine as long as you don't pile it onto your dreads. a little goes a long way and my dreads have never been softer.
