dreads and acne?

Introduce Yourself

yeah ive never waxed a dread in my life i do use salt water spray and leave it in maybe thats drying stuff out and actually causing excess oil production...ill try tea tree and stop leaving the salt in for a while and see if it helps soaringeagle said:

dreads and acne?

Introduce Yourself

ok so its been a long time since i had new dreads...and i dont remember if this happend last time or notso im a lil over a month into it and along my forehead at like hairline and the sides of my face have these tiny lil bumps its not like full blown zits or something but i assume its some kind of acne now i did not have this problem before i started dreading again. i do not use oil, gel, products etc,i wash only once a week with bronners and every other day baking soda acv. so wat the heck could this be from anyone else have this and wat are some good natural things i could use to help with this? could it be from my hair constantly touching these parts of my face now? idk any input or suggestions would be helpful.

Dread Maintenance

dr bronners makes a tea tree shampoo tea tree is good for dandruff also i posted a discussion on dread tea last week with recipes and these can be very helpfull ill see if i can find it and link it to you...the acv is great for dandruff if you have to u can always use a dandruff shampoo every now and again if there is one that works for uok u have a computer then u know where to get this stuff google rosemary oil and see how many places u can buy it :) see its easy your just lookin in the wrong places bro just cause walmart aint got it dont mean it hard to find and youll find buying online cheaper than u think and theres no comparison between bronners and shampoos u can clean everything with bronners and i mean everything even your teeth my house has 3 products in the cupboards bronners bicarb and vinegar all u ever need

tell your freind to get her ass on here and get the wax out she dont gotta listen to you just join here we will straighten her out

refuse to buy it tell her u love her too much to see her screw up her dreads and u will insist she needs to get the wax out or she will regret it
a freind must be willing to tell the truth bluntly even risk the freindship to help the freind

tell her if she joins here and talks to all of us i will buy her the crap muself if she still wants it but i guarantee she wont when she learns thew tryuth but just tell her u refuse to buy it unless she joins here and reads the truth 1st

me too sista i get heated up about folks bathing in scents and not considering the people around them its a pet peeve i mean soaps the scent does usually fade but bathing in parfum doesnt i had to take 2 percocets once and still wound up leaving my psych class cause the migraine i got after the girl in front of me showered in parfum Knottysleeves said:
I wouldn't call reacting to scents "hyper critical"... some people (like me) just have very sensitive noses. ;-)

If something smells really strongly (or is just gross, like cigarette smoke or strong perfume) it can make me feel physically ill... it's not something I can just ignore. Unfortunately.

it seemed to be just when u 1st get it the scents strong but then u dont notice it maybe when i unwrap thye other bars again there will be a shoer period of complaints again i think they smell amazing but some ppl are hyper criticle
