You said "twist and rip do it yourself crochet is really really really bad" which means its actually really really good? I was confused there for a moment.I tried this and I have 4 locks so far. I will play in it tomorrow, fortunately the whole back of my hair is already in twist so Im just un doing them one by one -- not having to part it. Unfortunately I dyed my hair 2 months ago and I lost sooo much thickness. Ive repaired it and stopped the breakage, the treatment left my hair extremely soft. The nice fat dreads I could have had wont show up until about 3 months.Thanks for all the replies. Ill post pictures when I finish with my hair! soaringeagle said:

in under 10 minutes you'll have your 1st it might have a bump or 2 the nest you'll perfect your technique and will come out just right
in a few hours you'll have a head full of beautiful dreads you creatted yourself..fee and something to be truly proud of

Hey ppl, Ive been pining for dreads about 5 years now. I want to start them the crochet method.I'm willing to travel far for them but this is my attempt to find someone closer to home first.Id do it my self but I dont know how. I bought the needles and tried. Plus my parts would be awful.
