Wax being used isn't because it is highly effective its because it is a high misconception! Its targeted and marketed to wanna be dreadies, who then have to find cures for "dread rot".Heavy, tacky, stinky, waxy dreads are, well, tacky!Using wax "sparingly and lightly" IS too much!

Peppermint oil is the only thing that works for my yucky dandruff, I don't have it any more since using it. I put it in my backing soda wash. The menthol is a remedy for it.
