my new dreads are now a month old... some are loose near the scalp...

try adding the rosemary oil and peppermint to the baking soda wash.. dont forget to rinse with apple cider vinger..ive learned from here that it restores sum wut of a natural ph and my head ithched like crazy when i didnt use it.thinkn the odor would bother me..but it seemed to fade about a half hour out of the shower....ive found my oils at a mom and pops health store...called natures way...hope you get this all worked out...good luck Tammi Baran said:

how often are you washing?most say not to wash more than twice a week..but it seems that i have to wash at least every other day...receantly ive been adding rosemary to my backing soda wash..damn it feels good...:)

before i started my dreads i had a full leanght of 13 in. hair..damn was it a pain in the ass with alll the brushing and conditioning i had to do to make it managable..natuarly my head wanted to knot up.. so i shaved half of it off..wich is the sides and the back only leaving the top to dread.. i find it more managable for me to maintane and keep under a hard hat ..(for work.. i could only imagin having a full head of dreads..does this make me half dreadie?...lol
