Whats your shampoo like?

my friend mentioned shampoo powder. anyone ever tried this? sounds very interesting to me. getting my hair wet ranks up there in terms of annoyances of long hair. i've done some googling and there are a decent amount of shampoo powder products out there. i'd prefer to go into a store and get it, though i'm not sure how common they are.
