Hey every one! I am going to a wedding in a week, and it is an outdoor nautical themed wedding. We are eventually going to be on a boat and I don't want my dreads smacking around lol. I am going to be outside all day I want to wear my dreadies up which is rare for me! Going to wear my bangs back in a pompadour, and I got a cool scarf to match my dress, Any ideas, or pictures?! Thanks loves!

I guess in between that time, I got my dreads wet once when they were dyed. But besides that nothing else.

I have had my dreads for 2 and a half years-

I have no sense of smell, but my boyfriend has never said anything, or my friends about my hair ever smelling bad. I went 3 months with out washing mine, and I just wash with baking soda when I have to. Just make sure that you aren't putting a hat on with wet or damp hair, or leaving a towel on your head to long. Make sure they are completely dry before washing again and you should be fine!

Hey there! I had my hair bleached by my friend that is a stylist and she has dyed dreads before. If you want to get the natural blonde look, she would suggest going to a beauty supply store and getting bleach and the blonde color you want. ( ask the sales lady about the stuff you need to mix it with, they are there to help! ) Go a shade lighter then you want it to turn out because if you bleach it 1st your hair will be porous and it will be darker then the color on the box. As far as bleaching or dying with dreads, don't be afraid! I had 16 dreads dyed before and I went to a beauty school to get that done. The teachers were very helpful in recommending the right mix for the thickness or thinness of the dreads. I love my blonde dreads!

I have had dreads for 2 and a half years, and I have bangs and side bangs, you could put them in a hat when you go to bed. I never have any problems with mine, and when I work I twist them up and pin them back because I don't like that hair is my face. I also use a head band or bandana to pull them back, you could also do that when you are sleeping. I would say feel the bangs out for a while more, and if the really are a pain then dread them up!
