If you wanna do neglect do it. I didn't get any good knots for 9 monthes and in the last 3 monthes I have 3 good locks started and a 4th on the way. It seems like once you get one going the hair around it will follow. Good things are worth waiting for and if you plan on having dreads for a long time just chill.
Thrive is a very good doc. And I like dr greers work but I think humans have a lot of work before we start to expand free energy to the point of saving the planet.
I just got the liquid because the bars didn't get my hair clean enough and its works a lot better. Your not ganna get much of a lather with this kinda shampoo. I think a lot of shampoos add a chemical to get that good lather
I dont have dreads and never have. I have been trying off and on the past year id say anyway, from what i have learned yes your hair will not knott if its oily it needs to be clean and residue free. If you have good water at your house( no hard water) Bakeing soda wash is the best thing
Im around 2-3 monthes now and got some realy small stuff goin on. But i things its just oil build upholding hair together no knotts yet. My hair has also shrunk alot.
I would have to say yes it causes dandrufffrom my experience. I just started using dreadlockshampoo a couple days ago and my scalp is already getting better.

Most hats are to tight. They restrict movement. Get a tam and wear that. You can have one custom made with or without a brim (depending on your taste). If your hair is long, a deeper one is fine. If it's short a deep one is fine too, but it'll look baggy. But then you wont have to buy a new one when your hair grows. You can also get a shallower one that will fit shorter hair and not look funny while your hair grows
