Sounds like my mum, she liked them at first and now as soon as she sees some undreaded hair she's like "oh, you need to backcomb that!" even though I explain to her all the time that it dreads on its own. Like Baba Fats said, just explain to her that it takes a while. Besides what's already been suggested, there's not a lot you can do to speed up the process, so just take the negative comments in stride, knowing that they'll be mature and awesome-looking dreadlocks one day.
thank you!!im goin to go to michaels for some beads this weekend hopefully.and im glad you told me to wash the spray out, havent used it yet but i would have let it sit most likely!!

And just explain it to her that locks are a process. They do not happen overnight. It's the process that makes them look good at the beginning and then unravel a bit before they start to knot up again
i need to get some asap.i might start to spray the back with some salt waster as well
i do 75% of the time. especially now bc i have a broke ankle
so my mom liked my hair at the start, wich was december 8th. and not shes tellin me i need to cut my hair because its not doing anything!then she hit me with "mostly all the hair in the back is straight and to fine to get knotted" and that is the only part of my hair that hasnt done anything so this is true. whats something i can do to make the back of my head start to section ond lock more!? its killin me lol
thats true,i guess every little difference just makes them mine!!and i think the wavy look is pretty cool
one of my dreads have a small loop coming out and it makes me kind of excited! lol
but i am using the locking gel from the dreadlocks shampoo site you reffered me too,it has seemed to make my locks tighter
