Thanks for the tips, I am still in the first stages of dreading but this will be a great reminder of how to look after any fat dreads, I feel one or two will be so far. Also helped to clear up any questions I had about using a towel and blow drier.

That makes sense. I always wonder how some people have so many dreads..I assumed new hair would sprout out from the scalp where there is space and then as described, eitherCongo,join another dread or make it into a aseparatedread.
Does this mean that hair will still sprout from the spaces between theseparatedsections at the root, so that over time you have more dreads than you first started with?

I am going to try as an after rinse to baking soda and ACV. I am thinking to make my own all natural soap bars when I find someglycerine, so let see how that goes
Is it just me, or is it a bit difficult to find the right type of shampoo (residue free/ natural) for dreads

I have just started to transform my hair into dreads going all natural! my hair isnaturally wavy/curly which tangles really easy (even while washing it)..
I am wondering if I can still tie up my hair? or will it interfere with the knotting and locking?
