I have just started to transform my hair into dreads going all natural! my hair isnaturally wavy/curly which tangles really easy (even while washing it)..
I am wondering if I can still tie up my hair? or will it interfere with the knotting and locking?

Cheers!

the more u tie it up the more it will want to be a single drewad so u will have to seperate much more often

I guess that, when dreadlocks are mature, it is less grave to tie them ?

Thanks! Im excited to see how my hair behaves now it has the freedom to do so,
Can I palm roll to help structure the dreads once they begin to form?

Sure if you want but it does not do anything to the hair itself or the knotting and locking it just makes you think your doing something. Just wash and repeat that's all you need to do. Salt water helps, sea salts the best just spray a bit on an hour or two before you wash you hair. I'm a year and 3 months in and it's a interesting journey hope you enjoy yours.

Okay I know I read all over the place that palm rolling doesn't do anything but I must strongly disagree!!! As some of you know some of my dreads are all natural, some are backcomed and left alone, and some are backcombed and then palmrolled lightly. And ALL of my palm rolled dreads are perfectly cylindrical and straight, while my other ones are curly and loopy and crazy. (I love the variety though) So I'm tellin you guys, palm rollings gotta do something 0.0
