washing and some really fine hair

Dread Maintenance

Your hair looks a lot like mine, I would be interested to keep checking up on your progress if you remove the wax and start over. Dreads take time I learned the hard way too (not wax, twist and rip), start completely from scratch remove the wax and do it naturally. It's worth it even if you are extremely impatient like myself.

2 weeks into neglect, Dr. Bronners or BS rinse?

Dreading Methods

Okay one problem though.

Oil doesn't dilute in water, so how does this work?

2 weeks into neglect, Dr. Bronners or BS rinse?

Dreading Methods

Theres a natural store up my street that sells Dr. Bronners soaps that I could use to wash my hair, but I don't know what kind I should get and upon a bit of research on this site found that some people had troubles with it, so now I am a bit hesitant.

I dont want to have issues with dandruff either so the BS rinse scares me a bit. I could also go pick up some rosemary oil and tea tree oil to put in with baking soda and sea salt, is this an effect method and will it keep the dandruff away?

Starting dreadlocks from fresh but a little nervous

Dreading Methods

Oh, also, I'm using Tresemme shampoo from the grocery store. It says that it doesnt leave any residue on the back of the bottle so I figure that it will work for now.

I took them out and started over with the natural method. The actual process started October 15th so I'm not too deep yet. Thanks for asking! Here is some pics I took just now.

Ugh!!! I'm unsatisfied ONCE AGAIN.

Why don't I just listen to SE!! I should have just done natural right from the start.

Sections are too big, looks way too made up. I know in the end its going to look the same BUT I know now that the end result will look better on me if I let my hair pick its own sections.

Damn you doubt, damn you. I'm taking them out today and starting over.

I was but I need to start work soon so I needed to put a rush on things, by thicker do you mean more hair so it is tighter or even bigger dreadlocks?
