Thank you! Yes I’m about a year in again! I switched to Vicki’s activated charcoal and patchouli dreadlockshampoo a few months ago and really enjoy it but I think my light colors are from the acv/water (1 part acv 3 parts water) I’ve been using once a month for about 5 years! (That or it’s just my hair?? - I have two blonde children!) The rosemary feels amazing! And yes that gave my hair a red hue more than it has already! Just be sure to rinse well!

She’s making me some in white and blue too!

Bobbles you mean hair ties?
My daughter crocheted me a hair tie! It works really well!! I love that my hair doesn’t have to be bound tightly for it to stay up anymore, I really like that I have something loose but not too loose to hold it all

I found once I brushed my hairs out that there’d be no keeping them tangle free, my once dreaded hairs craved to be dready. I’m at a year now and agree that the “new” natural locks are even more satisfying than any forming made dreads.

Good luck with the farm. We’re country critters, my kids are country kids and enjoy scaring the living daylights out of all those worry wort parents from town.... we don’t farm but keep animals and keeping the coyotes at bay is our nightly excitement.

The urge overcame me and I decided to have some loose hairs and bangs again. I cut the front 5 off... my kids promptly dreaded their Dolls and a stuffed emu 🤣

that’s too funny, I hadn’t thought to name them lol!

With the activated charcoal shampoo it’s speeding up my dreading process, after every wash I find less and less loose hairs and tighter locs

I really enjoy this stage and as they begin to fill in and become more dready! I have a few large dreads, one that’s close to two inches thick at the roots, it will be a monster lol. Some I’m allowing to Congo, there’s a few that are thinner than a pencil but very well dreaded with no desires to Congo. Since the beginning of January I’ve found three new baby dreads at the nape of my neck! I enjoy the process and watching them (shrink)grow
