Also, thank you for the suggestion, Baba.
It's been really hard for me to figure out whether Boulder has hard or soft water. Someone said it was a bit of both (which doesn't seem to make sense??). I looked on my County's website for the minerals in my H20, & it appears to be soft. Anyway, I appreciate your update on the Dr. Bronner's! I have used it for my first week, & have been okay, but if I find it's leaving to much oils behind-- I will switch to baking soda.
I cannot believe how fast your hair is knotting! It's awesome!! I am at 4 weeks today, & I feel like my hair looks more or less the same- haha. But I am just letting it go at it's own pace Love your photo updates!
I think humans are opportunistic creatures, & we would (**before super markets) eat what we had to when we had to. We probably stalked/hunted animals long before we would ever try to outrun them. Balance in life is a beautiful thing. I think eating a meat free diet for spiritual reasons definitely makes sense to me though. These are just my thoughts.
I am a certified veterinary technician at the local humane society in Boulder, CO area. I feel lucky that I am starting my dread journey in the Boulder area because there are a LOT of dreads here. I asked the HR if there were any restrictions in regards to hair styles- she said no. That's all I've said to them 4 months in & I'm still fairly certain they have no idea. Muwhahaha.
