MamaKitty's Neglect Timeline (Updated: 6/5/14, 1m1w2d!)

Hello!

I am warning you now, this may be a picture heavy timeline!!!!
Dyed my hair on 4/25/14 and decided to throw away my comb on 4/27/14.

Before ditching the comb:

Day 4:

1 Week!

(Hubby gave me a few backcombed locks underneath all of my hair, to see the difference in progression. You can see one on the left side of the picture.)

Day 9:
BUMPS AND LOOPS! ZZZOMMGGG!! :D

2 Weeks!

4 Weeks!

I didn't realize how knotty the underneath of my hair was getting until I decided to tie my hair up while separating this morning!!

Thank you! I tried tnr a few years ago and I hated that I spent so much time on them at the beginning for them to all come undone lol. I've noticed so far that with going natural it doesn't get my hopes up so much, my hair just does what it wants

a lot of your locs look a lot like mine and i started t&r 4 weeks ago (but didn't finish till 2 weeks ago).. a lot of them have come very loose and look so similar... makes me wish i went natural!

I cannot believe how fast your hair is knotting! It's awesome!! I am at 4 weeks today, & I feel like my hair looks more or less the same- haha. But I am just letting it go at it's own pace Love your photo updates!
