I always leave my hair down, don't much like to have it up but I recently got a waitress job and I am natural dreading and I have to wear my hair up :O I know how bad it is to wear a hat seems like a tight band on your hair would mess them up ever worse! SAY IT AIN'T SO? maybe I could just loosely tie it back with a piece of yarn while I'm working...kinda bummed about this, they are coming along so nicely!

bar soaps will leave residues dawns ok but not the best

get yourself a maylees bar (in our shops here) or a bottle of dr bronners (dilute it with 12 times more water then soap) or use the baking soda recipe u can find all over this site

sooooo it's been two weeks now since I haven't combed, got no camera to take photos at the moment, I have really thin smooth baby hair that gets oily really fast and have been washing my hair with dawn dish washing liquid or bar of soap since I haven't brushed and I have to say the texture of my hair is seems to be better for dreading but when I wash it with normal shampoo where it has moisturizes and stuff in it the forming dreads where looser and smoother so I've just been continuing with the dawn/bar-o-soap what's everyone else use??
