Help! Save My Dreads

JAHlove/Goddess blessings everyone

Thank you everyone-still trying to visualize a miracle and still hoping fto wake up from this ongoing nightmare!

I have 17 dreads-14 0f which started/have been are in 2 congo's which i have been gently trying to split apart

lengthwise to make redreading easier? I have been using raw aloe to moisten the cut ends and its very slow going-I haven't been up on maintenance as such-my life has been too busy-I think it easier to re-attach if smaller-Is mixing dr bronners with aloe OK?-am I doing anything right?-I have been dreaming of a threadless/hookless way of reintergration of dreads-knot just mine-time consuming but possible?-I have been trying to un tangle the 1st 1-2 inches of each dread-after I separate them-the idea being to take 2 small clusters of hairrand slip knot them to each other in several dozen different spots on the end of each dread-the result would make the dread tighter and stronger from its own weight-its permanent then-and put a hair wrap over each repair(do they make a 'chinese finger trap style dread wrap-the more you pull yhe more its together?!)I blessings-bfdf-

A friend of mine reattached his dreads by letting his new set settle in for a few months and then me and a friend sewed his old dreads onto the ends of the new ones.... it worked awesome, we had to reattach and do some weaves to a few but hecouldn'tbe happier with how they are now. He to felt an overwhelming sense of sadness and loss when they were gone... i feel for this guy, i really wish i lived closer to offer assistance!

Jah love& Goddess blessings

I have been trying to reply on yhis site for several days. Ihope this gets through-Thank you for your kind reply! You are a light in this barren hell I find myself in! Do I need to redread 1st? I have no idea about current technique for a situationlike mine. My dreads are still a part of me -I sleep with them-worship with them-I was hoping for a ffull reintegration-that the part of them still attached to me would recognize like energy and to give them best possibechance ofhealing into the same onrness. Igratefully dreadicated myself as a lifetime commitment to my tribe when I was aboard everybody's kitchen bus at the 2000 RNC protests-I'm not dead yet-I desecrated a sacred ness throughout me Ikilled myjoy of lifethat should a permanent journey of love been-now damaged forever-I can travel-still here and trying to get areply through this website, has been difficult-I'm still learning computer

Thank you-My E-mail addy is barefootdeadfreak@yahoo.com - Namaste-bfdf-Jim

Help! Save My Dreads

JAH love &Goddess blessings

I'v been a longhair since '73 and never voluntarily cut my hair(worse than weariing shoes!

I started dreading my hair while working on the"everybody's kitchen bus in Phila while the RNC protests happened in 2000. I bcame extremely ill due to the flu and on the4th night of the cold sweats ;I wound up having a delusional conversation with myself and did the totally horribly unthinkable and chopped off my sacred symbol of praise 7thanks to my JAH I was feeling as though someone was pulling all my hair out by its roots.I realized later that OSF!!-WTF did I do!I have been in a severe depression ever since.

I talked to Soaring Eagle and he suggested this forum

I don't care to exist without my dreadsand was hoping for a kind spirit whose nknot in a hurryto do a gentle reknotting of my dreads.I'm open for discussion oftime, place, terms my hair that's left is 2-4" longand wish to avoid any further damage to my dreads due to my age my hair is thinning and my time is running out

Namaste
