yeah i dont crochet that much at all, they did it when they first dreaded my hair, then for the first 5 months i didn't do it at all cause i didn't need too, then suddenly i started to get lumps in my dreads so i bought one, i did it probably five times but probably not to every dread just the problem ones, but then i started noticing a lot of little broken hairs, and i don't know what to do about them, will they go away or what should i do. and no the roots are only thinner when i squeeze them so i guess that one good sign
hey i have had my dreads for 8 months now and i listened to some bad advice, i got them done using a crochet needle and backcombing, and i have put wax in them. after they were done i left them a lone for a while, but then started maintenance by using a really small crochet needle occasionaly , i now wonder if i have done too much damage to them, they don't seem that damaged though i do have little loose hairs on them, and i am a little worried about the roots because they seem a lot thinner then the dread itself, but other then that they seem pretty strong, but im still worried that too many hairs are broken and i just haven't seen the full effect yet. i recently have been doing the wax removal and the bs rinse and everything but is it to late what can i do
