Last time I did backcombing and i didn't like it so all i know is that Im not doing that method again. What method did you use?
I made the decision to take my dreads out because I was really impatient on trying to combine my dreads. I tried for months and it just wasnt working. So now my hair is super thin and I dont know if my hair is even thick enough to do dreads. Should I wait a while or not? And an additional thing is my hair is all different sorts of lenghts now because before I had dreads i had a scene- type style and my hair is like that but (like I said) super thin and shorter than my hair was with dreads.

i already got the wax out (i believe) with vinegar and baking soda. i wash my hair with that once to twice a week. so i dont know if thats still the problem or not
I started dreading my hair about 7 months ago.I have naturally straight thin hair andI dreaded them by backcombing and wax. I stopped using wax the second month though. I bleached my hair and ever since then my dreads have been almost rock solid. I tried a volumizing conditioner and attempted to take them out to re do them, but i was unable to do that. Im also trying to combine dreads for a month and nothing has happened. Please tell me whats going on and what I can do to make them soft and able to combine them.
