Had my new dread interlocked once . Now what do i do?

Dread Maintenance

Hey dude.

She only put wax in at the first session and it was only a little bit, i have been washing it out since. Heres a load of pics of my hair with some close ups of the interlocking. I have just washed it again. It is nearly dry in these pics. What do you think?

she screwed u

wax was preventing dreading wax will keep u going back for more since they wont dread with wax in them so after 3 appointments each 1 scrweing you even more how much did she rip u off for?

toi dread all u had to do was stop combing ..thats it nothing more

your loose hairs will take care of them selves..but it takes a year

they will thicken if the sections arent too skinny

u must must must remove the wax

when the wax is gone u will dsee more progres in 2 weeks then u saw in months..even years

wax is evu=il and any salon that dares use it should be sued

are u white? this salon knew nothing at all

id demand a full refund ..if u could u should start over but if not then dewax dewax dewax 6 months frim now u can stop dewaxing u gotta dewax a long time after your sure its all gone cause it probly isnt

ok if they are as thin as u say maybe 2 months after your sure its all gone

the sooner u get the wax out the better

Dread Maintenance

Hi . I am new to this site and new to dreads. I went to get my dreads started off (as i had no idea where to begin) my hair is very very fine and soft. The lady divided my hair into lots of little sections and then backcombed them and put wax on. I then went home and left it for about a month and nothing at all happened. so i went back and she done the same thing again ... nothing happened so she then interlocked them and now they have started to dread (not at the root or the tip but in the middle part of the hair). I have read how terrible this is for your hair and as my hair is so fine anyway i am now concerned my dreads will fall out. I have left it too long to take the interlocks out but m wondering where i should go from here in terms of maintenance and making sure they carry on dreading. There are loads of loose hairs and parts that havnt started dreading yet. i also worry that where it has been interlocked it is in two strands before it comes to the dreaded bit so will these ever join and dread properly? My dreads are very thin aswell, will they thicken over time? Sorry it's quite a long post, don't really know where else to go for advice.
