few more diagnostic questions

1 is the blue the bleach?

2 feel them do they feel dry and brittle

or

scratchy like brillo

im still leaning towards crochet as the culprit altho u got multiple issues

the root setions lioook real big but the dreads pretty thin

thats a symptom of crochet dammage

but so is a scratchy feeling dread byt a very dry brittle dreads from bleach

nah the blue isnt bleach its just the colour i've dyed it. they dont particularly feel really very scratchy. a bit i guess. but not like majorly. they look a little bit brittle in places, like really fuzzy bits like at the ends where it looks like hairs snapping...?

well i bleached it cause i wanted them blonde at first, but the blonde was well dodgy, really white at the roots and ginger at the tips. and i didnt want to bleach it again, and have it all drop out, so i just dyed over it with blue

crochet snaps hairs it what it dioes your poking a metal hook thriugh the dread how can it not snap hairs

if thats all the problem then leave em alone they will get fuzzier 1st and slowly heal

but they will need to loosen up soften up and takes 6 months or more to recover

the best thing u can do for dreads is nothing wash and seperate nothing else no wax no tools no forced tightening nothing

so conditioning will trat the tightness from crochet and dryness from bleach

get the wax out

then leave enm alone

not much like an inch or so. there was a really thin patch, the ends have been blunted, it was a bit above the end where it was thin ans snapped

how was the tip blunted im betting the blunting of the tip caused the break

was it blunted with crochet or the loose hair tool or something?

u should realize also blunting the tips isnt a good idea either it causes them to dry 5 times slower
