This is very encouraging and inspiring, like I said - I wanted to grow my own garden next month and give it to the people in the homeless shelter up the street, so I'll start there and maybe I can make a bigger difference one day ^_^ thanks for sharing 
a few blocks away from the lots of love garden there was an inner city farm run by the homeless they made jams and jellies to and sold them so it was employing them too they grew food to eat as a cooperative and then fruites for the jellies which they had some of the younger homeles kids would take to several farmers markets and sell and theyd all share the profits
