your hair knows how to lock itself always has everything you've ever done was to prevent it from locking.

freeform can lock in wild ways it forms freely sometimes well look up a member @Hummingbird Love Gorilla

thats pretty wild (and yes he models)

organic you still allow it to dread itself, but you separate to prevent the massive "congos" that happen when dreads just merge together

organic lets  you control the range of the sizes they form

most frreforms don't come out like his, but the point is to let them freely form as they want, any way they want

1 I saw had what looked like a wrist palm and 5 fingers sticking from the top of his head waving as he walked!!!

1 guy I met... and it formed in a single night... had what could only be described as a dinosaur like ridge

freeform can be extremely artistic and unusual ..but excessively thick  dreads aree extra hard to care for

thats why many stick with semi freeform  or organic where they prevent the  dreads from getting so thic they cause issues

Ah okay seeing some of the freeforms or what I believe were free forms were something that I wanted to do. Something like KingKesia now that I know a bit more about the distinctions perhaps it is semi that way they don't become too massive. Looking to do something similar to what I have now just without the damage that has been done basically. I'm also new to the terminology so that could be my mistake in describing things as well to which I do apologize.

so you like the sexy women huh? I briefly (dont pay a lot  of attention to time and was years ago but seemed like weeks to  2 months) dated a beautiful sexy African American woman.. and had a real connection.. I didn't know it at the time cause she downplayed it (and I wouldn't have cared or been impressed) but many many years later found out shed been voted 1 of the top 10 sexist women in films of all time

hers can be completely freeform, or semi only saw a few lemmy try google not bing

ok saw allot through all stages absolutely started freeform

there may have been a time they were crocheted (not sure) once

van you ost a few of what you think of are typical of hers

Oh wow and well not just her looks but her hair is just gorgeous every time. I'm sure it's always prepped and ready for a photo shoot but I really adore the way her locs are. Yeah just from the shape and everything they are free form. Looking at other locs that are similar seem to be freeform or semi. The way they are the way I wanted to get my locs.

from all you say although the damage from the loctician was not that bad compared to most i feel you really know you want to restart naturally

so  use alot of conditioner or cheap oils anything cheap but slippery  use plenty pick them out gently slowly  from the tip  even if you could use soft bristled brush to try to brush some loose ..the gentler the better for the hair but certainly slower

if you get to spots hard to comb out soak em in more whatever your using and move on.. be extra careful at the interlock points maybe even use a knitting needle to ry to undo what you can see can be undone

I will try that thank you even though I just washed yesterday would it be possible to do that today? Or should I wait a couple of days?  Again thank you for all your assistance. Also some strands feel kind of hard I'm assuming the conditioner will take care of that?

only 1 photo  the way they  were tied up looked slightly stiff like maybe they were crocheted once  omg her hair was gorgous before locking too

well you know when I was with (can't say who) wasn't her looks I even remembered it was everything else when I was with her though she was .. well purposely dressing down, being lil incognito

knew shed been with someone famous but knew nothing of her work till she had to leave for a photoshoot

but omg yes her hair (your hair crush) that was amazing from start to finish

sooo many freeformers have absolutely amazing locks

locs the typo.. just lack the personality the  individuality  somehow that k is something missing from them..

you can keep in mind some people get them out in a day others take days even up to 2 weeks to get them out (but people can take out 10 year old dreads)

you are not likely to get them all out today .. just take olive oil on a glove keep rubbing it into 1 dread as you work on that 1

if you get to a spot that your getting nowhere … dip it in squeeze it in and start on another dread letting that 1 soften and loosen up

the hard spots might need soaking overnight

Exactly the free form and the way the locs look are mesmerizing and makes you want locs heh. I think that's what got me down that trend that and Bob Marley as well. just it was one of those things where when you live under your parents roof you can't get hair like that but being out on my own figured it was time to start.

That's kind of interesting you didn't know being incognito guess she wanted to be seen as an individual and not just from the shoots that she has done which is amazing. Don't hear that all too often in this day and age really.

I'm assuming regular kitchen Olive oil I hope? I don't know if we have any but I know we have a ton of conditioner.
