I do wish I had gone totally natural rather than backcombing which was all I really knew about from a couple old friends with dreads. As far as the twisting and ripping, i think its likely to be less damaging and does look more natural from the beginning so I think it is a better method if you just can't or really don't want to go natural. soaringeagle said:
