I'd recommend ordering as many as you can before the shipping charge goes up. I think I got 1 bottle and 6 or 8 bars in 1 package once. It seems pricey, but the bottle lasted me much longer than I thought it would. I just opened one of the bars yesterday.
Do you mean that the roots are trying to split into 2 different locks? Or that they are just loose and you can fit a finger through the loose hair? If they are just loose, don't worry. As they mature the roots will tighten up so that there is only about 1/4 inch of straight hair there.
