Currently i'm recovering from crochet. Does my dreads have to completelyloosenup before it starts dreading properly or will it carry on from the knots that was created from the crochet hook?

completely?

they have to loosen a good bit

if u continue from super tight they will take a very long time

but theres no completely loosen involved they gotta kloosen enough to not be stiff to move and knot and loop
