ACV wash/tightness

What's good dreadlock community? my hair has been naturally dreading for some months now and basically all of my roots are locking up. I just started using an ACV wash and have been recommended to use it from once a week to twice a month, yet I feel that my dreads become looser when it has been over two or three days since washing them. Does this make sense? and has anyone had a case where it has helped their dreading process to be washing every two days or so?

I had been using a non-residue shampoo, which probably wasn't completely non-residue because it was Suave, but yeah now I am only using the acv wash. I get about a tablespoon of bakingsoda and mix it in a large bowl, letting my hair sit in it and then pouring it through my hair. Then I use about two cap fulls of the apple cider vinegar and mix it in the same bowl with a pinch of baking soda and do the same thing. then just rinse by pouring cold water through my hair

u never want to mix bs and acv!

u also wabnt to use way more bs then acv till mature

to the bs 1st..then rinse that out well

then do the acv after

no mixing they chemicaly react

ad if u only use a spoonfull of bs u want like 1/4 spoonfull of acv

okay. sounds good. but as far as the routine of washing my hair would it make sense to wash every two days to keep my dreads tighter?
