Ok cool, so good to know that doing the vinegar rinse every 1-2 months with proper dilution will most likely be ok for my hair. So I am guessing that every month is just too often even with proper dilution, right?

i wouldn't that often unless it really realy really needed it for some reason

Ok, then is every 2 months is still ok or is that still cutting it too close?

Would rinsing my hair with water do anything for helping to remove possible build up from soap/shampoo or would only vinegar really work?

you rinse after each wash and it doesn't help right?

It does seem to help. I mean the water rinses out clear, so I am not sure I really have any buld up...and the spots in some dreads that could be thought of as hard....couldn't that just be really dense parts of the dreads, indicating their maturity? I mean these denser parts are near the bottom, where most of the non-free form texture is. 

could be and very dry areas can be hard too  if when wet and you squeexze ..pinching hard do you feel any stickiness

In some of them but that has seemed to have gone away. At least I hope so LOL.. I am hoping it wasn't actually the case and/or doesn't come back. I'll check on this next time they are wet.
