better but i think they could go lil smaller still u sauid u want nickle size well compare a nickly e to the area at the scalp not the thickness of the hair but the area at the scalp all the hairs comming from your dreads will start out tyhin but thicken till masture and end up being pretty much the size of that root area

count sections

20-30 is pretty damn thick

30-50 thick to medium

50-80 thin

80-100 real thin

100-400 micro

i think u will want 40-50 or so

dont u hasve any lights? would be so much easier to see if u turn a light on

go get yourself a opacket of cheapo beads ..plastic .. tnr it up

get the beads on near the tips so they stick and hold a few weeks but u can remove em or break em off if need be tnr it as good as u ca then use a thread to pull the tip thru the bead and force it to stick as close to the tip (but not at the tip like 1/4 inch up at least)
